In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, Indian Railways has decided to extend the run of the special trains.Keep checking our website for new trains as new trains are announce very often for festivals season.

Diwali/Deepawali Special Trains – Pune from Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad & Howrah from Puri,LUCKNOW-KAMAKHYA and 15 more trains | 15th October Update

SPECIAL TRAIN UPDATE on 2 OCTOBER 2010

To and from New Delhi :

1. Train number 0429/0430 Lucknow-New Delhi special daily which was scheduled to run up to September 30 has been further extended to run from October 1 to November 20 (51 trips) when departing from Lucknow and from October 3 up to November 22 (51 trips) when departing from New Delhi.
2. Train number 0457/0458 Varanasi-Anand Vihar Terminal daily express which was scheduled to run up to September 30 has been further extended to run from October 1 to November 20 (51 trips) when departing from Varanasi and from October 2 up to November 21 (51 trips) when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal.
3. Train number 0403A/0404A Anand Vihar Terminal-Jammu Tawi special tri-weekly Express which was scheduled to run up to September 30 has been further extended to run from October 2 to November 20 (22 trips) when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and from October 3 up to November 21 (22 trips) when departing from Jammu Tawi on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
4. Train number 0405A/0406A Anand Vihar Terminal-Jammu Tawi special weekly Express which was scheduled to run up to September 26 has been further extended to run from October 3 to November 14 (7 trips) when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Sunday and from October 4 up to November 15 (7 trips) when departing from Jammu Tawi on every Monday.
5. Train number 0465/0466 Delhi Junction-Panipat Special daily which was scheduled to run up to September 30 has been further extended to run from October 1 to November 20 (51 trips). Read more for Time Table and Other special trains…




6. Train number 2205A/2206A New Delhi-Dehradun Weekly Express which was scheduled to run up to September 18 has been further extended to run from September 25 to November 20 (9 trips) when departing from New Delhi on every Saturday and from September 26 up to November 21 (9 trips) when departing from Dehradun on every Sunday.
7. 0420/0419 NEW DELHI-PATNA-NEW DELHI HOLIDAY SPECIAL The train No.0420 will depart from New Delhi on Nov. 9 & 10, 2004 ( two trips ) at 11.55 p.m. to reach Patna at 5.30 p.m. the next day. In the return direction holiday special train no.0419 will depart from Patna at 11.00 p.m. on Nov. 10 & 11, 2004 ( two trips) to reach New Delhi at 5.45 p.m., the next day. Consisting of one AC 2 tier, one AC 3 tier, eight sleeper class, two general second class and two brake van coaches will stop at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahad and Mughalsarai station enroute.
8. 0416/0415 NEW DELHI-PATNA-NEW DELHI HOLIDAY SPECIAL The train No.0416 will depart from New Delhi on Nov. 11, 2004 ( one trip ) at  2.00 p.m. to reach Patna at 10.40 a.m. the next day. In the return direction holiday special train no.0415 will depart from Patna at 12.30 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2004 (one trip) to reach New Delhi at 04.50 a.m., the next day. Consisting of one AC 2 tier, one AC 3 tier, eight sleeper class, two general second class and two brake van coaches will stop at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahad and Mughalsarai station enroute.

1. Train nos. 0331/0332 Howrah-Delhi Jn. bi-weekly superfast special (via Danakuni)
2.  0337/0338 Kolkata-Haridwar weekly express (via Danakuni)
3. 0349/0350 Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar weekly superfast special.

Train no. 0331 Howrah-Delhi Jn. bi-weekly superfast special will depart from Howrah on (every Wednesday and Sunday) October 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 and 31 and November 3, 7, 10, 14, 17 and 21 (15 trips) at 1.25pm and reach Delhi Jn. at 11.55am the next day. In the return direction, train no. 0332 will depart from Delhi Jn. on (every Thursday and Monday) October 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 and November 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18 and 22 (15 trips) at 7.10pm to reach Howrah at 5pm the next day.

The train will consist of one AC-2 tier, three AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class, four general class and two second class cum luggage cum brake van coaches. It will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Mughalsarai, Mirzapur, Allahabad and Kanpur stations enroute in both the directions.

Train no. 0337 Kolkata-Haridwar weekly express train will depart from Kolkata on (every Wednesday) October 6, 13, 20, 27 and November 3, 10, 17, 24 and December 1 (9 trips) at 10.40pm to reach Haridwar at 2.15am the third day. In the return direction, train no. 0338 will depart from Haridwar on (every Friday) October 8, 15, 22, 29 and November 5, 12, 19, 26 and December 3 (9 trips) at 10.40am to reach Kolkata at 1.30pm the next day.

It will consist of one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tier, six sleeper class, six general class, two second class cum luggage cum brake van and two second class cum luggage cum brake van disabled friendly coaches. The train will stop at Asansol, Dhanbad, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Mughalsarai, Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow and Moradabad stations enroute in both the directions.

Train no. 0349 Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar weekly superfast special will depart from Bhagalpur on (every Friday) October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and November 5, 12 and 19 (8 trips) at 5.30pm to reach Anand Vihar at 12.45pm the next day. In the return direction, train no. 0350 will depart from Anand Vihar on (every Saturday) October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and November 6, 13 and 20 (8 trips) at 11.55am to reach Bhagalpur at 8pm the next day.

It will consist of one AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class, six general class and two second class cum luggage cum brake van coaches. It will stop at Jamalpur, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Mughalsarai, Allahabad and Kanpur stations enroute in both directions.

You can get reservation for Special train from any station reservation counter. There are sleeper coach available in these special train but there are no any pantry car (Restaurant) in these spacial train. So you have to keep your lunch with yourself.

The schedule and train can be changed by Railway. So please be confirm from railway station reservation counter for schedule time and date and availability of seats in these train.
