Extension of LTT-Gwalior Special Train
Railways have decided to extend the run of 01187/01188 weekly special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Gwalior up to 25.7.2011 .Ex Lokmanya Tuilak Terminus and upto 24.7.2011 Ex Gwalior. The details are as follows-
01187 Special will leave LTT at 13.40 hrs on every Monday upto 25.7.2011 (2 trips) and will reach Gwalior at 11.40 hrs next day. 01188 Special will leave Gwalior at 13.45 hrs on every Sunday upto 24.7.2011 (2 trips) and will arrive LTT at 12.05 hrs next day. There is no change in the existing halts and composition of the above special trains.

While in the return direction, the 04044Ratangarh -Delhi Jn Special train will depart from Ratangarh from 7.7.2011 to 31.7.2011 (26 Trips) at 03.15 p.m. to reach Delhi Jn. at 10:00 p.m. the same day.
The 04043/04044 Delhi Jn. – Ratangarh- Delhi JN. Special train will stop at Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Delhi Cantt., Gurgaon, Rewari, Mohendergarh, Loharu, Sadulpur & Churu stations enroute in both the directions.

The three-day roadways strike made on the call of UP Rajya Nigam Karamchari Sangh for nine point demands including the implementation of
Sixth Pay commission, met strong resentment from various roadways associations and more than 500 buses remained off road.
The impact of the ‘chakka jam’ of the buses from the midnight, was clearly visible as passengers kept facing difficulties in travelling. Owing to the strike, heavy rush on trains and Kanpur Central was witnessed. Many could not reach the desired venues on time, whereas several persons were compelled to change their schedule and postpone their trips in wake of the strike.
