While in the return direction, the 09022 Jammu Tawi – Bandra Terminus Special (Weekly- Wednesday) presently running upto3.8.11 has been extendedto run on10/8, 17/8, 24/8, 31/8, 7/9, & 14/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Jammu Tawi. 5 more trains have been started from New Delhi. Please find their schdule,stops and coach information below :- 04043/04044 Delhi Jn.-Ratangarh- Delhi Jn.Express Special Train(Daily) The 04043 Delhi Jn.- Ratangarh will depart from Delhi Jn. from 6.7.2011 to 31.7.2011 (26 Trips) at 4.50 a.m. to reach Ratangarh at 11.00 a.m. the same day. While in the return direction, the 04044Ratangarh -Delhi Jn Special train will depart from Ratangarh from 7.7.2011 to 31.7.2011 (26 Trips) at 03.15 p.m. to reach Delhi Jn. at 10:00 p.m. the same day. WEEKLY SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN HYDRABAD AND FIROZPUR For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, Railways have decided to run one Weekly Summer Special train No.07137/07138 Hydrabad-Ferozpur-Hydrabad Weekly Summer special train as per the programme: The 07137 Hydrabad-Ferozpur Weekly Summer special train will depart on every Tuesday from Hydrabad at 10.15 a.m. i.e on 10/5,17/5,24/5,31/5,7/6 and 14/6/2011(6 Trips) to reach Ferozpur on wednesday at 11.30 pm. While in the return direction the 07138 Ferozpur- Hydrabad Weekly Summer special train will depart on every Thursday from Ferozpur at 3.00 p.m. i.e on 12/5, 19/5, 26/5, 2/6,9/6 & 16/6 /2011(6Trips) to arrive at Hydrabad at 05.10 a.m on saturday. Comprising of One A.C. 2 Tier, One A.C. 3 Tier, ten three tier Sleeper, two general Second class and Two second class cum luggage van coaches, the 07137/07138 Hydrabad-Ferozpur- Hydrabad Weekly Summer special train will stop at Secunreabad, Kazipet Jn., Sirpur, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Lalithpur, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt, Mathura Jn, Delhi Safderjung, Shakurbasti,Rohtak,Jind,Jakhal,Bhatinda, and Kotkapura stations enroute in both the directions. TRAINS TO AND FROM ORISSA 12843/12844 Puri-Ahmedabad-Puri express trains will be augmented by one additional AC 3 tier coach each till June 30 from Puri and till July 2 from Ahmadabad. 18405/18406 Puri-Ahmedabad-Puri express trains will be added by one additional sleeper class coach till June 29 from Puri and till July 1 from Ahmadabad. 18401/18402 Puri-Okha-Puri express trains will be augmented by one additional AC 3 tier coach till June 26 from Puri and till June 29 from Ahmadabad. Continue reading Summer Special Trains – Orissa and Northern Railways | Holiday special trains in May, June & July 2011 The three-day roadways strike made on the call of UP Rajya Nigam Karamchari Sangh for nine point demands including the implementation of Sixth Pay commission, met strong resentment from various roadways associations and more than 500 buses remained off road. The impact of the ‘chakka jam’ of the buses from the midnight, was clearly visible as passengers kept facing difficulties in travelling. Owing to the strike, heavy rush on trains and Kanpur Central was witnessed. Many could not reach the desired venues on time, whereas several persons were compelled to change their schedule and postpone their trips in wake of the strike.
